Roots Community Birth Center is hiring for both full time and part time Staff Midwives. CNM and CPM/LM candidates are welcome to apply. Roots is a free-standing birth center located in North Minneapolis, and the only African American owned birth center in the state of MN. Staff midwives work as a team to provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and birth, postpartum, newborn and well person care to clientele. The ideal provider for this position is intersectional and well versed in anti-racist healthcare practices. BIPOC and LGBTQIA applicants strongly encouraged to apply. New grads must have strong prior independent practice experience.

We are hiring part time birth & clinic assistants to assist the midwives in the daily clinic operations and in the birth settings. Team members must be committed to anti-oppression work and supportive of all birthing families and family practice clients, regardless of background, race, religion, age, gender, gender expression, marital status, sexual orientation, etc.
